Social pensions are indexed in Russia

OREANDA-NEWS Social pensions will be indexed in Russia by 14.75 percent from April 1, 2025. This is stated in the draft budget of the Social Fund of Russia for 2025 and for the planning period of 2026 and 2027, reports TASS.
"Indexation of social pensions, state pension pensions: from April 1, 2025 — 14.75 percent," the explanatory note says.
Earlier it became known that insurance pensions in Russia are planned to increase by 7.3 percent in accordance with the expected inflation rate. The same increase will be for non-working pensioners, to whom payments are indexed every year, and for workers, for whom the indexation will be the first since 2015.
Another pension increase will affect some Russian citizens as early as October 1. These include pensions for the military, citizens who turned 80 in September, and those who received a disability of the first group.
