OREANDA-NEWS The survey showed that 40 percent of Russians spend from 5 to 15 thousand rubles a month on food per person. Another 26 percent — from 15 to 30 thousand. In addition, 21 percent of Russians surveyed began to adhere to a more proper diet over the past year. This follows from the results of EFKO and A2:Research.
"One in five stopped adding sugar to tea and coffee, and 17 percent set a limit on the amount of sugary foods eaten daily. The main motivator for maintaining a healthy lifestyle in Russia is the desire to strengthen the immune system and become more energetic. To do this, Russians go in for sports, arrange fasting days, try intuitive nutrition," the study says.
It also turned out that one in ten tends to eat less meat, but does not exclude it from the diet. The most useful in the diet of 34 percent of Russians consider fruits, 28 — vegetables, another 20 focus on foods with a high protein content.
"21 percent of respondents began to eat more correctly. 7 percent switched to farm products, another seven began to cook at home more often," analysts found out.
