OREANDA-NEWS  Russians faced an acute shortage of funds, in the fall of 2023, citizens began to choose almost the entire approved amount of a microloan — an average of 91 percent of the total amount of a micro-loan. This is reported by the newspaper "Izvestia" with reference to the statistics of the online alternative lending service Moneyman.

In the course of the study, more than 100 thousand microloans issued throughout Russia by different market participants were analyzed. As a result, it turned out that the need of citizens for additional funds has increased dramatically compared to previous years. So, in September-October 2022, the indicator was only about 80 percent of the approved amount of a microloan, and in 2021 - only 75 percent, analysts said.

Similar statistics were provided by Andrey Ponomarev, CEO of the Webbankir online platform. According to him, in October 2023, the level of the amount of microcredit chosen by customers exceeded 90 percent. Thus, over the past year, the indicator has grown almost 1.5 times, the expert concluded.

In the second half of October, the publication of RBC with reference to the results of a survey conducted by analysts of the job search service hh.ru , reported that almost half (45 percent) of Russians no longer have enough salaries to meet basic needs. Another 36 percent of respondents have a salary that hardly covers key needs. According to the results of the study, it turned out that only 20 percent of citizens have enough wages to buy everything they need.
