OREANDA-NEWS   More than half of Russians (55 percent) are going to meet the amount of up to 30,000 rubles when buying New Year's gifts.

At the same time, 26 percent of respondents intend to spend up to 10 thousand rubles on gifts, and 29 percent – from 10 to 30 thousand rubles. Another 13 percent of respondents allocate an amount of 30 to 50 thousand rubles for this, and 16 percent assume that buying gifts will cost them more than 50 thousand.

Not everyone plans to spend money on loved ones in connection with the holidays: 31 percent of respondents said they would not give gifts. Another 69 percent gave a positive answer to the question about plans to please their loved ones.

Only 10 percent of respondents said that their spending on holidays will decrease this year. Another 15 percent believe that spending will not change this year, and 62 percent believe that it will increase. At the same time, 39 percent of respondents immediately plan to use credit cards to pay for New Year's purchases, and 18 percent plan to installments or BNPL services (payment in installments).

Experts attributed bouquets of tangerines, compositions of nobilis (Danish fir with a blue tint) with the symbol of the year, candles, festive sets and New Year's balls to unusual categories of gifts. The average receipt for gift bouquets, sets, toys and Christmas trees varies from 1.5 to 4 thousand rubles, according to the study.

Earlier it became known that employers in Russia began to abandon the traditional sweet New Year gifts for the children of employees. According to the press release received by the editorial office of "Lenta.<url>", they are now more often preferred certificates for educational courses, including children's EdTech products and online education.
