Russians Called the Desired Amount of Income for a Comfortable Life in Retirement

Almost 36% of Russians believe that for a comfortable retirement they need an income of 30 thousand rubles per month, showed the results of a survey of the NPF "Sberbank", received at the disposal of the Russian media. Pension desires of Russians are highly dependent on the level of their current income, comment on the results of a survey at the Sberbank NPF From 30 to 40% of respondents with an income below 35 thousand rubles for each family member reported that for a comfortable life they need less than 30 thousand rubles.
Among those who earn 35-45 thousand rubles and more than 55 thousand rubles per family member per month, most want to receive a pension of 45-60 thousand rubles. In the group of Russians, the labor income is 45-55 thousand rubles, 90.9% of respondents reported this level of comfort in retirement. Real disposable monetary incomes of Russians continuously decreased during 2014–2017, in 2018 they showed near-zero growth - by 0.1%, follows from the Rosstat data. At the beginning of 2019, real incomes sharply went into a minus - in the first quarter, the indicator decreased by 2.3%. Economists expect a fall in real incomes for the current year.
The highest level of military claims - 20% of them say that they need more than 100 thousand rubles for a comfortable retirement, according to the survey results. 30% of servicemen called themselves comfortable income from 45 to 60 thousand per month after retirement. Housewives and students turned out to be the most modest - about 25% of those surveyed in these social groups said that 15-20 thousand rubles would be enough for a decent old age.
The next step in changing the Russian pension system should be the reform of the funded pension. Pension savings of Russians have been frozen since 2014, the moratorium on contributions has been extended until 2021.
