Russian Federal Tax Service Estimates Budget Revenues from "Google Tax" for Three Years at 82 Billion Rubles

The Federal Tax Service (FTS) of Russia expects that budget revenues from the "Google tax" that foreign companies pay from electronic services will amount to about 82 billion rubles in three years, said the head of the Federal Tax Service Mikhail Mishustin at a working meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
“I would like to say a word about such an important tax, it's also called “Google tax”. In fact, this is a tax on electronic services that foreign software manufacturers in Russia provide us with. We have practically good numbers , the result for these almost three years, when it took effect in Russia", said the head of the Federal Tax Service.
According to him, revenues will amount to about 82 billion rubles. "This is approximately $ 1.4 billion with our minimum investment, that is, in the infrastructure, in the development of software we have invested approximately several tens of millions of rubles", Mishustin said
