OREANDA-NEWS The arrested Russian cargo ship “Ivan Lopatin”, which is the property of the “Murmansk Shipping Company”, will be auctioned in Lithuania.

According to the information agency Sputnik Lithuania, the first stage of the auction will take place from July 4 to August 5. This is evidenced by the data portal Evarzytynes.lt. The starting price for a cargo ship is 2.4 million euros (170 million rubles).

Note that “Ivan Lopatin” has been located in the port of Klaipeda since October 2017. According to the Klaipeda Association of Russian Citizens, the cargo ship should have been repaired, but the company, which was responsible for the work, ceased operations due to debts.
