OREANDA-NEWS  Banks in Russia have begun to raise rates on savings accounts and deposits, without waiting for the regulator's decision on the key rate at the next meeting. RIA Novosti writes about this with reference to representatives of credit institutions.

So, the PSB said that starting from July 24, they will raise rates for retail customers on term deposits to 18 percent per annum. The bank made this decision taking into account the dynamics of the key rate and based on expectations for the future decision of the Bank of Russia.
