He added that the abolition of restrictive measures would increase the interest of the business community in closer cooperation. “Removing these trade and economic barriers would undoubtedly contribute to raising the interest of the business circles of both countries to more vigorous interaction,” said Petrov. He also recalled that at the end of 2014, the trade turnover between the countries amounted to $ 5.3 billion, and after the introduction of sanctions against Russia, it fell to $ 2.7 billion in 2015.
