OREANDA-NEWS  Forbes for the first time presented a rating of the largest taxpayers with personal income tax of more than 1 billion rubles, which included 22 people. It was headed by Leonid Mikhelson, a shareholder of NOVATEK and chemical manufacturer Sibur Holding. In 2023, his personal income tax amounted to at least 10.979 billion rubles. Ilya Dimov, the owner of Stroyprojectservice, took the second place (3.7 billion rubles), and Peter Khodykin, the beneficiary of Rif Trading House, took the third place (3 billion rubles).

Forbes studied the personal income of the richest Russian businessmen, deducing as a derivative an estimate of the amount of personal income tax paid. For this purpose, publicly available data on personal income for 2023 were used (in particular, dividends from the company to the owner — an individual).

Leonid Mikhelson's personal income for 2023, according to Forbes estimates, amounted to 73.191 billion rubles. The amount of the businessman's dividends last year amounted to 105 billion rubles. from NOVATEK and Sibur Holding. The personal income of Ilya Dimov, who owns Stroyproektservice, is estimated at 25.175 billion rubles, and Peter Khodykin — at 20.399 billion rubles.

The top ten of the Forbes rating included the wife of the rector of St. Petersburg Mining University, the owner of Phosagro shares Tatyana Litvinenko (personal income tax - 2.9 billion rubles), LUKOIL co—owner Vagit Alekperov (2.9 billion rubles), chairman of the Board of Directors of Delo Group of companies Sergey Shishkarev (2.7 billion rubles), owner of the international trading holding "AVD-Group" Andrey Dudko (2.2 billion rubles), owner of the CDS group Mikhail Medvedev (2 billion rubles), shareholder of the S7 group Vladislav Filev (1.6 billion rubles) and owner of the logistics operator Logistics Center Dmitry Rodov (1.5 billion rubles).
