OREANDA-NEWS  Russia is waiting for foreign investors, the domestic market is open to them, said Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation.

"Yes, we are waiting for foreign investors, the market is open for them, but we will take into account our experience," he told reporters.

Chairman of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin said earlier that the short-sighted decisions of foreign companies to leave Russia had the opposite effect and it would not be easy for them to return to the Russian market now. He noted that the Russian industry has successfully adapted to the prevailing conditions and has gained a good pace of development, as evidenced by the growth of economic indicators. Volodin also stressed that industrial production increased by 4.6% in 2024, and Russia's sovereign policy allows it to increase technology while ensuring its own national interests, and among these interests there are definitely no foreign companies that fled for the sake of political conjuncture, "making 'loud' statements about Russia."
