OREANDA-NEWS. The profit of the banking sector for 10 months of 2019 reached 1.7 trillion rubles against 1.2 trillion rubles a year earlier. At the end of the year, sector profits could reach about 1.9 trillion rubles, follows from materials from the Bank of Russia. “The profit of the banking sector in the first 10 months of 2019 reached 1.7 trillion rubles against 1.2 trillion rubles in January - October 2018. For the entire 2019, the profit of the sector, according to our estimates, may reach approximately 1.9 trillion rubles”, notes the regulator.

According to the Central Bank, 363 credit organizations showed profit - this is 80% of the number of credit organizations operating at the beginning of November, and their share in banking sector assets is 98%. “The growth of the financial result this year relative to the previous year is largely technical in nature due to the use by credit institutions of adjustments in accordance with the Moscow Exchange 9, the impact of which is about 0.3 trillion rubles”, the regulator said.
