Alfa-Bank and Rosselkhoznadzor were the first to receive state accreditation to work with biometric data of citizens, the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation said in a statement.

The Russian Ministry of Energy has denied claims that the weakening of the ruble this summer was influenced by Indian rupees hanging on the accounts of domestic oil exporters.
