OREANDA-NEWS. Swiss bank Julius Baer has released its first global report on welfare and luxury lifestyle Global Wealth and Lifestyle Report. The report was based on a study of consumer behavior and the prices of goods and services of the luxury segment in 28 megacities. Moscow turned out to be one of the most affordable cities, taking 23rd place in the overall ranking.

Analysts at Julius Baer examined the prices of 20 categories of luxury goods and services that high-net-worth individuals buy — as a rule, they include people with a fortune of more than $ 1 million, excluding the cost of their main place of residence. The prices for Rolex watches and Dior handbags, as well as expensive wine and the organization of a wedding banquet, were taken into account.

According to Julius Baer, the most expensive cities for millionaires are Hong Kong, Shanghai and Tokyo. Most accessible to millionaires was to live in Mumbai, Johannesburg and Frankfurt.
