More than 20 percent of Russians in 2022 faced a salary delay

OREANDA-NEWS More than 20% of Russians faced a salary delay during 2022, 75% received it on time, follows from the HeadHunter study.
The company's research service conducted a survey among 5,334 Russian applicants. "21% of Russians faced salary delays during 2022: 5% - once, 16% - several times. Another 75% said that their employer always paid the money on time, and 5% did not work in 2022," the report says. Most often, the salary was delayed for residents of the Primorsky and Krasnoyarsk Territories, as well as the Vladimir region. Professionally, the most difficult situation with the payment of salaries is in the areas of "Tourism, hotels, restaurants", "Art, entertainment, mass media", as well as "Construction, real estate".
Earlier, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Tatyana Golikova instructed federal executive authorities and regions to take measures to repay wage arrears in debtor organizations.
