Medvedev: Russia's GDP Growth in 2019 Will Be 1.3-1.5%

OREANDA-NEWS. Russia's GDP growth this year may reach 1.3-1.5%. This was stated by Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev in an interview with Russian television channels. "This year our economy has developed, but not at such a significant pace as we all would like. The maximum growth that we expect can be from 1.3% to 1.5%", he said.
According to the Prime Minister, inflation in Russia in 2019 will be within 3.8%, the lowest in the history of the Russian Federation. The Prime Minister also noted that according to the results of 2019, unemployment in Russia will be 4.6-4.7% of the economically active population. The budget surplus of the Russian Federation in 2019 will be around 1.8% of GDP, Medvedev added.
