Mastercard international payment system plans to launch a money-to-card money transfer service in Russia by phone number abroad. The payment system discusses this with banks, information about plans to launch the service is available in Mastercard strategic documents, two sources on the banking market told RBC. Another interlocutor in the market is aware that Mastercard is discussing the development of the service. 

Mastercard has a Mastercard Hub service, in which the payment system stores all the customer’s mobile numbers tied to the card account - it will be used to create a new payment solution, one of the sources explained.
