An International Monetary Fund (IMF) staff team, led by Ms. Cemile Sancak, visited Lome from October 20 to November 2 to conduct the 2016 Article IV Consultation.

ADB celebrated its 50th anniversary and 11th year of partnership with Armenia with a tree planting ceremony at the Karmir Blur museum park in Yerevan. 

ADB and the University of the South Pacific signed loan and grant agreements to fund construction of a new USP Honiara Campus, which will boost access to quality higher education in the Solomon Islands.

ADB and the Vanuatu government signed an agreement to establish an extended mission in Port Vila – an in-country presence which will enable ADB to provide faster and better responses to the country's needs.
