OREANDA-NEWS  The Government of Ukraine has adopted a resolution on expanding the construction of fortifications, the budget provides for the allocation of more than $ 27 million. This was stated by the Prime Minister of the country Denis Shmygal in his Telegram channel.

Earlier in March, Kiev instructed to start the construction of fortifications in a number of regions of Ukraine. The Ministry of Defense, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), the Ministry of Economy, regional military administrations (OVA) and other departments should ensure the construction.

Before that, it became known that the Ukrainian Armed Forces began to build a reinforced concrete fence on the border with Belarus, and later — about the construction of dugouts in the Volyn region of Ukraine. As reported, the local population and the military dug deep ditches, strengthening them with wood.
