OREANDA-NEWS The total incomes of the Russian population in 2023 increased by 10.7% compared to 2022, and doubled by 99.7% compared to 2013, according to the FoRGO report "The Antifragility of Putin's state: ideology, institutional foundations, holistic elections", which is available to RIA Novosti.
The authors of the report note that when talking about the effectiveness of public administration, people primarily pay attention to personal income.
"In 2023, according to Rosstat, the total income of the population increased by 10.7% compared to 2022, and doubled (by 99.7%) compared to 2013. At the same time, the income structure has changed slightly, which indicates a frontal increase in living standards," says the report of the Civil Society Development Fund, which is available to RIA Novosti.
The median salary (an indicator that divides all employees into two equal parts: 50% receive salaries below this value and 50% above it) increased by 32.5% from 2019 to 2023 and amounted to 40.4 thousand rubles. If we take into account data on sole proprietors and the self-employed, then the median salary will be even higher.
"In 2023, the total income of the self-employed amounted to 1.4 trillion rubles, which is 48% more than in 2022. Over the past year, the number of self-employed has increased by 41%, and incomes have increased by 48%. At the same time, the total earnings of the self-employed during the tax period reached 3.2 trillion rubles. On average, 344 thousand rubles per self-employed person," the authors of the report report.
According to the report, despite the fact that inflation negatively affects the growth of real wages and other incomes of the population, incomes in Russia have overtaken inflation, with real income growth of 5.4% in 2023.
"As of October 1, 2023, according to the Social Fund of Russia, the average amount of pensions was: for old age - 20,996 rubles, for disability - 12,886 rubles, for loss of breadwinner - 13,921 rubles, social pensions - 12,530 rubles," the report says.
The authors of the report emphasize that the existing size of pensions is insufficient for a full-fledged life of an elderly person, but this problem is well-known and understandable, "therefore, it will be solved soon."
The total expenses planned for the "National Projects of Russia" operating in 2019-2024 amount to 25.7 trillion rubles (for the Human Capital program - 5.7 trillion rubles, "Comfortable Living Environment" - 9.9 trillion rubles, "Economic Growth" - 10.1 trillion rubles).
"As of December 2023, 21 trillion rubles have been allocated for the implementation of national projects. In 2024, expenditures on national projects from the federal budget alone will amount to more than 3 trillion rubles, that is, the planned amount of funding will be fulfilled," the report says.
On February 29, in a message to the Federal Assembly, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the launch of five new national projects in Russia: "Family", "Personnel", "Youth of Russia", "Data Economy", as well as "Long and active Life".
