OREANDA-NEWS   The State Duma in the third and final reading adopted a bill on transfers of up to 30 million rubles between accounts belonging to the same person in different banks without commission. The document is published on the official portal of legal information.

Transfers without commission are allowed to be made to your own accounts through the fast payment system (With BP) or bank applications. Transfers directly at the offices of banks or using payment systems will not be free — according to the project, a commission is charged for them.

Such operations can be performed monthly. Banks do not have the right to limit the number of transfers within the period established by law, nor can they limit the amount of funds transferred. The explanatory note in the bill states that it was created in order to restrict banks from creating "protective conditions for the free movement of funds between banks by individuals."

Initially, it was planned to set the transfer amount limit at 1.4 million rubles, but in the new edition it was decided to increase it to 30 million.

Before the bill comes into force, Russians can transfer up to 100 thousand rubles per month from account to account without commission. We are talking only about transfers through the SBP. For transfers over the established limit, a commission of 0.5 percent is charged, but not more than one and a half thousand rubles.
