OREANDA-NEWS  House cleaning services in Russia may double in price. The reason for the price increase will be low salaries in the industry and a shortage of migrants, according to the Telegram channel Mash.

Since the beginning of the summer of 2023, the number of ads for the search for cleaners and cleaning specialists has increased almost sevenfold - from 300 to 2 thousand. However, it is not possible to cope with the shortage of personnel: salaries in the industry have remained at the same level, and due to currency volatility, it becomes expensive for migrants to send money to their families back home. In addition, alternative offers with higher salaries have appeared on the market.

There is no hurry to increase salaries in the sector: many cleaning companies have signed annual service contracts, so they cannot revise the prices. However, in the near future, the cost of house cleaning services may rise sharply, sources predict.

According to Avito Services, in September and October, the demand for cleaning among Russians increased by 80 percent, which is almost twice as much as a year ago. According to analysts, every year more and more citizens delegate household chores and turn to private clinicians for help. Over the past year, there have been more orders for general cleaning, disinfection and disinfection, window washing, post-repair cleaning, carpet and furniture cleaning.
