OREANDA-NEWS Henkel has closed a deal on the sale of Russian assets. For them, she received 54 billion rubles, according to the German company's statements for the first quarter. Henkel's Russian business was bought out by a consortium of investors, which includes the structures of Viktor Kharitonin, Ivan Tavrin and Dmitry Kryukov.
Henkel produced cleaning and cleaning products in Russia under such brands as "Laska", Persil and Losk, as well as adhesives "Moment". Last year, 2.5 thousand employees worked at 11 Russian plants of the company.
It is not yet known whether Henkel has received permission to withdraw the money received from Russia, as was the case with Shell's withdrawal from the Sakhalin-2 project. Then, however, the amount was twice as much, and the purchase of currency for such an amount is believed to have weakened the ruble.
