According to the media, Gucci boutiques in Los Angeles, New York, Atlanta and Las Vegas will be the first to accept the crypt. Payments will be made via a link sent to the buyer by e-mail — it will be possible to find a QR code that allows you to pay for the purchase using a crypto wallet. According to the company's representatives, Gucci will accept more than 10 types of cryptocurrencies: Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, Wrapped Bitcoin, Litecoin, Shiba Inu, Dogecoin and others.

As noted by VogueBusiness, in the summer the fashion house plans to extend the possibility of paying for purchases with cryptocurrency to all its stores in North America. «Gucci is committed to mastering new technologies that can provide our customers with a broader brand experience», commented Marco Bizzarri, President and CEO of Gucci.

Previously, Off-White brand stores in London, Paris and Milan also began accepting cryptocurrency payments. Customers can pay for purchases in Bitcoin, Finance Coin, Ethereum, Ripple and stablecoins Tether (USD) and USD Coin (USDC).
