At the same time, at the peak of growth at 10:18 Moscow time, the share price reached 256.5 rubles. per share, which is 3.4% higher than the previous bid closing level.

Previously, Gazprom Gas Distribution, controlled by Gazprom, announced the sale of 850.59 million ordinary registered uncertified shares of a gas holding company, which corresponds to 3.5% of the companies. Based on the share price for yesterday's close of trading, the value of the package can be estimated at about 211 billion rubles.

Earlier it was reported that the board of directors of Gazprom will consider the issue of the amount of dividends for 2018 at a meeting on May 21. The final decision on dividends must be approved by the shareholders of the company at the annual meeting, which will be held on June 28, 2019 in St. Petersburg.
