OREANDA-NEWS. Gazprom’s board of directors has agreed to acquire Gazprom Capital, owned by Gazfin Cyprus Limited, another structure of the gas holding company, at 9.99% of Novatek’s charter capital, Gazprom said in a statement.

The par value of the shares is 0.1 rubles each, the total nominal value is 30.332 million rubles. The securities were purchased "at the weighted average price of transactions completed during the trading day on the Moscow Exchange, on the day the stock purchase and sale agreement was concluded".

Last summer, the foreign subsidiaries of Gazprom Gerosgaz Holdings BV and Rosingaz Limited sold 2.93% of the monopoly to the funds managed by Gazprombank Asset Management JSC through the Moscow Exchange.
