The article says that in November last year, "bad" credit card debt increased by 2.3 percent compared to October and amounted to 491 billion rubles. This has become the maximum value in recent years.

The number of credit cards overdue for more than 90 days reached 7.65 million against 7.5 million a month earlier.

Earlier it was reported that in October, the amount of overdue loans in Russia decreased by 14 percent. Experts said that citizens have paid off some of their debts to banks. Thus, in a month, the level of delinquency of up to 90 days in the total volume of existing loans decreased from 1.58 to 1.35 percent.

The Ministry of Justice had previously proposed to ban creditors from involving bailiffs in collecting Russians' debts within a year of their appearance.
