OREANDA-NEWS. The Governor of the Bank of Finland, Erkki Liikanen, will participate in the Annual Meetings of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank in Washington D. C., 7-9 October 2016. Governor Liikanen represents Finland on the Fund's Board of Governors.

The International Monetary and Financial Committee as well as the Development Committee, which is a joint forum of the IMF and the World Bank, will also convene in connection with the Annual Meetings.
