OREANDA-NEWS. Tethys Petroleum Limited (Cayman Islands), whose shares are officially listed on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), has provided KASE with the following press-release dated September 30, 2016:

Tethys Petroleum Limited (Tethys or the Company) announces that the appellate judicial division of Almaty city court issued a ruling in favor of Tethys, while dismissing the previous appeal of the plaintiff and reinforcing the previous ruling of the Court dated August 24, 2016, to lift the attachment with the Company's assets. The Court's ruling shall enter into force immediately upon its adoption, must not be appealed, and all of the restrictions on the use of bank accounts held by the Company in Kazakhstan shall be lifted.
