Sberbank and Government of Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District Sign Agreement
OREANDA-NEWS. Sberbank and the Government of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District signed a cooperation agreement at Sochi 2016 international investment forum. The document was signed by CEO, Chairman of the Executive Board of Sberbank Herman Gref and Governor of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District Dmitry Kobylkin.
Key areas of cooperation include the development and financing of projects, including based on the principles of a public-private partnerships, financing the deficit of the district’s budget and budgets of municipal entities.
In addition, the agreement implies the joint development of small and medium-sized enterprises in the region and the implementation of infrastructure development programmes of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District during the development of Russia’s Arctic Zone. The agreement covers residential construction, improvement of population centres, and reforming the housing and utilities sector.
Sberbank and the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District are also planning to carry out programmes to provide electronic services and develop systems for offering financial services to individuals through remote channels.
