OREANDA-NEWS. Caspi neft (Atyrau), whose shares are officially listed on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), has informed KASE of the following:

"On September 23, 2016 an Addendum No. 5 to the Contract for the extraction of hydrocarbons in Ayrankol field No. 1525 of October 15, 2004 (the Addendum) was signed.

The Addendum provides for the following changes:

1) liabilities on local services content were reduced to 74%;

2) a fine for failure to fulfill obligations under the contract was reduced from 30% to 1%.

These amendments will take effect as of the Addendum execution date".
