OREANDA-NEWS. At its regular meeting on Tuesday the Eesti Pank Supervisory Board nominated Rein Minka as a member of the supervisory board of the Financial Supervision Authority from 1 October, as the mandate of Aivo Adamson has expired. Rein Minka is also a member of the Supervisory Board of the central bank.

The Supervisory Board also nominated KPMG Baltics O? as the external auditor for the accounts in the annual reports for 2016-2020. The external auditor for Eesti Pank for the past five-year period was AS Deloitte Audit Eesti, which was therefore unable to participate in the procurement for the external auditor.

The board meeting heard a review of the first half of the year from the Executive Board and from the internal audit. Eesti Pank Governor Ardo Hansson gave the board the regular review of the state of the economy in the euro area.
