OREANDA-NEWS. Vnesheconombank's Chairman Sergey Gorkov and Head of the Chechen Republic Ramzan Kadyrov met in Grozny to discuss Kazbek technopark project.

The Bank's decision to participate in the construction of Kazbek technopark in the Republic of Chechnya was approved by the Supervisory Board of Vnesheconombank. The total project value is RUB 8.7 bn, with Vnesheconombank’s commitment standing at RUB 5.5 bn. The project provides for the construction of four interrelated plants for manufacturing fiber cement boards, cellular concrete blocks and boards, dry building mixtures and industrial lime.

“The technopark is of high importance to the republic. It will make construction materials more affordable and create more jobs for people. As a result, 400 people will be employed and nearly 3 thousand specialists will be able to work in related sectors”, said Ramzan Kadyrov.
