OREANDA-NEWS. S&P Global Ratings assigned its 'A-' long-term rating to Carter County Public Facilities Authority, Okla.'s series 2016 educational facilities lease revenue bonds, issued on behalf of Carter County Independent School District No. 77 (Dickson Public Schools). The outlook is stable.

"The rating reflects our opinion of the district's general creditworthiness, as demonstrated by its adequate wealth per capita and good income levels; good financial position, albeit reported on a cash basis; and low overall net debt burden," said S&P Global Ratings credit analyst Joyce Jung.

The district plans to address capacity issues by adding three classrooms with proceeds from this bond issuance.
