OREANDA-NEWS. S&P Global Ratings has withdrawn its previously assigned 'A' long-term general obligation (GO) rating on Clay County, Ala.

The withdrawal is based on the lack of timely information of satisfactory quality to maintain our rating on the securities in accordance with our applicable criteria and policies. The county has not published its audited financial statements for the 2013 or 2014 fiscal years.
