Sberbank, Tula Region and Public-Private Partnership Development Centre Launch Educational Programme
OREANDA-NEWS. The Public-Private Partnership Development Centre, Tula Region Development Corporation and Sberbank are launching a joint educational programme to develop and support infrastructure projects carried out with the use of public-private partnership (PPP) mechanisms. The programme is designed for the authorities of the Tula Region and employees of the bank.
The programme is starting in August and will end in December 2016. The participants will receive both theoretical and practical knowledge necessary for solving tasks at all the stages of the public-private partnership project lifecycle: from initiating a project to its implementation.
“The Tula Region is a pilot platform, on which we are expected to create conditions for a system-based launch of public-private partnership projects and then spread this experience,” said Vladimir Mironov, Project Director at the Division for Russian Constituent Entities. “We are looking forward to implementation of such programmes in other regions, too.”
