OREANDA-NEWS. 14-th meeting of the Working Group on Interbank Cooperation under the Russian-Vietnamese Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation took place 17-18th August 2016 in the city of Yaroslavl. The meeting was chaired by Dmitry Skobelkin, Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation, and Nguyen Thi Hong, Deputy Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam, and involved representatives of the Bank of Russia and the State Bank of Vietnam and of the financial community of both countries.

The session focused on the issues and prospects for bilateral interbank cooperation, interaction among payment systems, legal and technical matters related to establishing rouble/dong trading on Moscow Exchange.

The parties confirmed the advantages of widening the cooperation in payments in national currencies through involving exporters and importers of both countries.
