OREANDA-NEWS. In July 2016 the number of individual accounts involved in shares transactions on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), increased by 43 % compared with the previous month. The percentage of individuals in the gross turnover of shares in monetary terms increased to 62.0 % from 56.1 % in June 2016.

As of the end of July there were 103,493 personal accounts at Central Securities Depository (hereinafter – the CD) opened by individuals, which is by 179 accounts more than at the end of the previous month, and by 1,981 accounts more than at the beginning of 2016.

Below is information on the dynamics of the number of individual accounts opened with the CD involved in share trades on KASE ("Accounts in transactions"), gross-turnover of trade in shares in such accounts, their transaction percentage in the total gross-turnover of trade in shares in the mentioned month.
