OREANDA-NEWS. S&P Global Ratings has withdrawn its 'AA' long-term rating on Centerport Fire District, N. Y.'s previously rated general obligation (GO) debt. At the same time, we removed the rating from CreditWatch with negative implications, where it had been placed on June 30, 2016.

"This action follows our repeated attempts to obtain timely information of satisfactory quality to maintain our rating on the securities in accordance with our applicable criteria and policies," said S&P Global Ratings credit analyst Kelsey Thomas. The withdrawal of this rating was preceded, in accordance with our policies, by any change to the rating that we consider appropriate given available information.
