Sberbank’s digital banking was announced the winner in four nominations in the Global Finance award
OREANDA-NEWS. Sberbank’s digital banking was announced the winner in four nominations in the Global Finance award in Central and Eastern Europe. Sberbank won in the following nominations: Best in Mobile Banking, Best Bill Payment & Presentment, Best Information Security Initiatives and Best SMS/Text Banking
Among the key criteria that were used by the Global Finance‘s experts are: strategy of customer acquisition and client services, expansion of client base, capability of digital products and success in business development through online-services. This year, jury of Global Finance focused specially on mobile financial services.
“By participating in the Global Finance awards we are able to see and evaluate the position of our digital products on the international market. Sberbank has represented Russia as a leader in mobile banking, information security and online payments”, - Svyatoslav Ostrovsky, Head of “Bank XXI” Department at Sberbank commented.
Sberbank tripled the number of active users of Sberbank Online mobile apps and introduced several new features. Furthermore, in 2015 Sberbank significantly increased security of digital products by releasing a unique Android application with a built-in antivirus.
