OREANDA-NEWS. UniCredit Bank entered the list of agent banks of Deposit Guarantee Fund for 2016-2017. This decision was approved by the Executive Board of the Fund on June 23, 2016.

While making selection of agent banks Deposit Guarantee Fund considers bank’s reliability, the NBU regulatory compliance, wideness of retail network and other performance indicators.

In 2015 UniCredit Bank paid out guaranteed recoverable sums to depositors of 12 insolvent banks for the amount of more than UAH 540 ml. Depositors who received payments showed the confidence in the bank and over 40% of paid amount was deposited in UniCredit Bank.
