OREANDA-NEWS. Agrarian Credit Corporation (Astana, hereinafter – the Corporation), whose bonds are officially listed on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), has provided KASE with the following press release: 
"Agrarian Credit Corporation through commercial banks funding backed funding for fruit orchards cultivation project.

Alma Green Fields obtained support under the commercial banks funding program for on-lending to agribusiness entities. It is located in Yenbekshikazakh  district of Almaty region (150 km distance from Almaty).

The purpose of the project is to establish a complex to cultivate fruit orchards: apple, cherry, plum. The garden area is 278 hectares. The farm received the borrowed funds in the amount of more than KZT2 bn for up to 7 years.

The project production capacity is 10,720 tons: 9,820 tons of apples, 600 tons of plums, 300 tons of cherries".
