Ukraine’s First Contactless ATM to Appear in Lviv
OREANDA-NEWS. Specially for Alfa Jazz Fest 2016 UniCredit Bank in partnership with MasterCard, Euronet Ukraine and Alfa-Bank Ukraine will present Ukraine’s first contactless ATM in Lviv, which allows withdrawal of cash using MasterCard contactless payment technology. ATM is available in test mode from June 22.
The world’s first network of contactless ATMs was launched in Barcelona by Spanish La Caixa 5 years ago that made it possible to achieve a speed record in cash withdrawing. Today this new generation technology came to Ukraine. Lviv citizens and guests will have the opportunity to withdraw money without any contact which is much more convenient, faster and safer.
The official presentation of the project will take place on Sunday, June 26, in UniCredit Bank branch on Mitskevycha Sq. 10, where the ATM will be located. Top management of UniCredit Bank, MasterCard and Alfa-Bank Ukraine will take part in the presentation. Customers who will come to test the ATM on Sunday after 1 p.m. will be welcomed with plenty of surprises, gifts and special offers.
