OREANDA-NEWS. According to the data as of June 1, 2016, VEB funds 189 investment projects, with the actual funds used under the projects amounting to 1.8 trillion rubles.

Funds are provided regularly according to the schedule for 2016, only in May, borrowers received 9.68 billion rubles. All decisions on major credit transactions are in the competence of Vnesheconombank’s Supervisory Board, with its next sitting being scheduled for late June. The Bank’s Development Strategy up to the year 2021 is to be considered at this sitting.

In accordance with its new Development Strategy Vnesheconombank is to focus its efforts on such top-priority lines of activity as providing support for exports, high-technology industry and infrastructure.
