Discover’s Utah Customer Care Center Recognized as a Top Company
OREANDA-NEWS. For the second year in a row, Discover has been selected as a top company in Utah by the Best of State award program. Discover’s Utah Customer Care Center in Lake Park was named Top Financial Services provider in the Business Services category.
“Since Discover’s launch 30 years ago, we have focused on doing the right thing for our customers, employees and communities,” said Clint Morley, vice president at Discover's Customer Care Center in Lake Park. “Being recognized as a Best of State company for two years in a row is a reflection of our dedication to our goals and drives us to continue to provide best-in-class service for our customers, professional development for our employees, and invest in charitable efforts in the communities around us.”
Best of State award applications are reviewed by more than 100 judges and assign numerical scores for each of the three judging criteria – companies that excel in their endeavors, use innovative approaches or methods, and those who contribute to a better quality of life in Utah. Examples include excellence in community service, charitable contributions, family friendly employment policies, environmentally sound practices or policies, increased employment opportunities and innovative business practices.
Winners were honored at an awards gala on May 18 in Salt Lake City and were published in the Best of State 2016 Winners Directory.
