OREANDA-NEWS. Already for the third year in a row, SEB has been named as best securities services provider in Estonia by the international finance magazine Global Finance. SEB Banks were recognised with the same title in Latvia, Lithuania and Sweden.

Securities management services include the settlement of payments for, as well as the holding and ongoing servicing of securities acquired by a client (investor), for example, in the form of the processing of dividend payments related to a security.

Drawing on experts’ opinions, the Editorial Board and journalists at Global Finance picked the best institutions providing securities management services. Evaluators drew on market research, expert assessments and information provided at the time of submission for consideration. The selection criteria included: customer relations, service quality, competitiveness of prices, the ability to handle exceptions, technological platforms, post-settlement operations, business continuity, and knowledge of local regulations and practices.
