PrivatBank ranked as the best bank for retail customer service in Ukraine
OREANDA-NEWS. The annual award ceremony for the 50 leading banks in Ukraine based on the results of a survey by Financial Club news agency was held on 18 May, 2016. PrivatBank won in the categories "Retail customers servicing in branches", "Credit card loans", “Private banking”, and "Internet-banking". Oleksandr Dubilet, Chairman of the PrivatBank’s Board, was acknowledged the leading banking manager in Ukraine.

Evaluation of the "Retail customers servicing in branches" ranking incorporated the following criteria: average time spent on opening a current account and associated costs, ability to access accounts at any of the bank’s branches, possibilities for remote account management, number of available money transfer services, ratio of number of operational bank employees to number of open individual accounts, fees for utility service payments, the total number of branches, the percentage of branches with the possibility of currency exchange, the number of branches where precious metals and investment coins are available, the number of branches operating after 6 PM on workdays and on weekends.
Within the "Credit card loans" category the agency examined terms of card loans provided by banks to their clients - cardholders of Visa Classic and MasterCard Standard cards. The following criteria were taken into account: average annual effective rate, maximum loan amount, grace period without interest charges, fines for overdue payments, the number of branches which offer services as well as the number of new customers using the service.
Calculation of the "Private banking" ranking was based on the following criteria: number of active service users, number of customer-holders of Platinum cards, number of the highest premium level cards such as Infinite, World Elite or Centurion, number of dedicated branches, availability of additional entrances at branches, level of concierge-service, availability of investment solutions and other consulting services, proposals for operations with precious metals, presence of a depositary and number of partner banks providing service in other countries.
The "Internet-banking" category was based on such criteria as number of customers that activated full online access to the account management system, functionality of online-banking (ability to make payments, top up a deposit, repay loans, receive a print-screen receipt, obtain account statements, apply for credit, transfer money to another account online, perform SWIFT-transfers via the bank’s website, possibility to withdraw money from an ATM without a card in hand and to pay for utility services), availability of mobile applications and website adapted for mobile devices.
