NRA’s Financial Reliability Rating on Independent Alliance AM Withdrawn
OREANDA-NEWS. National Rating Agency has withdrawn its financial reliability rating on Independent Alliance (Russian Cyrillic: Независимый альянс) AM СJSC due to expiry of the contract. The withdrawn rating has not been affirmed, as NRA has not, over the past 90 days, been provided sufficient information, needed to apply its methodology in accordance with Article 12, Clause 5, of Federal Law # 222-FZ ‘On the Activities of Credit Rating Agencies in the RF’ and adequately assess all factors and events impacting the company’s risk profile. In addition, Independent Alliance is planning to stop its core business operations. The company was assigned NRA’s first-time financial reliability rating of ‘AA-’ on May 30, 2014. The latest rating action (the rating downgrade to ‘BBB+’ and placement on Watchlist/ Indefinite) was on Apr. 25, 2015.
