Salesforce Selects Amazon Web Services as Preferred Public Cloud Infrastructure Provider
OREANDA-NEWS. May 26, 2016. Salesforce selected Amazon Web Services as its preferred public cloud infrastructure provider.
For the first time, we’ll be able to deliver our core services—including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, App Cloud, Community Cloud, Analytics Cloud and more—for our international infrastructure expansion. This will enable us to bring new infrastructure online more quickly and efficiently in select international markets.
This announcement builds on an already great relationship between Amazon and Salesforce. Many Salesforce services—including Heroku, Marketing Cloud Social Studio, SalesforceIQ, and the recently announced Salesforce IoT Cloud—run on AWS infrastructure. And Salesforce is Amazon’s company-wide customer platform.
