BB&T honored for mobile banking functionality
OREANDA-NEWS. May 20, 2016. BB&T (NYSE: BBT) has been named "2016 Javelin Mobile Banking Leader in Functionality" by Javelin Strategy & Research.

BB&T was ranked third in Javelin's annual mobile banking scorecard in the functionality category, up from 18th place in 2014. Javelin noted that 'this fast rate of growth was due to key functionality upgrades within the U app,' including the ability for clients to:

- Send person-to-person payments from their phone, to any person, regardless of where they bank
